CHRISTMAS AT CAER LLAN

Caer Llan is so much more than just a summer venue set amongst amazing scenery: The warmth and coziness of a large family home really shines through at Christmas time. A roaring log fire, fairy lights both inside and out, twinkling Christmas trees and the background sound of Christmas music offer a wonderful setting for your exclusive event.

Christmas is traditionally a time for people to get together and enjoy great food and drink and of course, each other’s company. We’ll do our best to give you the perfect backdrop to do just that.

Whatever your event, be it a Christmas or new year wedding, a family celebration or even an office or works party, the backdrop is beautiful, and the welcome from ourselves and our hospitality team is warm and friendly giving you the chance to celebrate together in unforgettable style.

As per tradition, our Christmas decs go up from the start of December through to 12^th night in January.

CAPACITIES

Our formal dining capacity is for 80 guests.
Informal reception capacity for up to 120 guests.
We have accommodation for 50 guests, across 16 bedrooms.

Our philosophy is simple – to make every guest feel relaxed and at home during their time at Caer Llan. We take great care to give a professional, non-imposing yet friendly service and we do as much as we can to make your celebration special, your event is unique and we really want you to enjoy and have the best time.

We have a whole host of different styles of catering to suit your event and we will work with you to find the perfect match for your party.

The experience of an in house team ensures that food is plentiful, fresh and beautifully presented. All individual dietary requirements and food allergies are happily catered for at no extra cost. We do not offer self catering at Caer Llan.

Our bar offers a great selection of drinks, all at affordable pub prices and served with a smile from our very friendly bar staff. There’s no last orders for residents, we don’t run out and we guarantee no long queues.

Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just four miles from the historic market town of Monmouth, Caer Llan offers picture perfect views and total peace and quiet within easy access of the M4 and M5, with both Cardiff and Bristol just under an hour’s drive and London only 2 hours away.

THE FACILITIES

Within the house there’s a fully licensed Bar & Piano Lounge, a home cinema and a diy disco, whilst outdoors, garden games include giant chess, croquet and table tennis. The gardens and grounds will keep the intrepid explorers happy with some fantastic countryside walks for the more adventurous..

We pride ourselves on making everyone’s celebration as special as possible. So we are thrilled to say we have a 5* rating on Trip Advisor, as well as a 5* rating from the Visit Wales Tourist Board.

FULLY CATERED

What is a celebration without great food? We can offer various catering options including a Formal 3 course Menu, formal buffet or for that true country house party feel, we also offer a selection of less formal reception buffets such as barbeques, sumptuous finger buffets and hog or lamb roasts.

ACCOMMODATION

There are 16 bedrooms within the property allowing Caer Llan to accommodate up to 50 residential guests. They are highly versatile, ideal for families and will be set up ahead of your arrival according to your requirements.
